The book

I sent the images off to blurb.com today, and I will hopefully receive the book in 2 weeks, just in time for my deadline! Its a brilliant website, with a programme you download, so that you can put your images in some really interesting layouts. I cant wait to see the finished product!

SUCCESS!

The shoot went really well! We got some really great images and got a lot of interest from members of the public, so it was a definate success. Oh, and bonus, we met Annie Lennox! Photos have been uploaded to the facebook group, here is the link:

Preparation for the shoot

THE PHOTO SHOOT IS TOMORROW!

And I have had a bit of a drama today, but its all sorted! I called the members of my team to check that everyone had their coach tickets, and Joe told me that he couldn't afford the transport, and that he would prefer if I could get someone else to be my photographer, as he has a deadline he would like to spend the day working towards. So, I emailed all the photography students I could think of, and Leanne Lim-Walker stepped forward to save the day! And offered to pay for half of her coach ticket. Here are some examples of her work:

So my team consists of myself (art director/stylist) Leanne Lim-Walker (photographer) Charlotte Millerchip (makeup artist) Jacqui Boulton and Josi Slater (models) Izzie Dellar and Becci Melville (Assistants).
Myself, Leanne, Charlotte, Josi, Izzie and Becci are getting the coach from Bournemouth to London, and we are meeting Jacqui in London.
I have emailed Zoe to ensure all the details are okay for tomorrow and to enquire about a room to store our gear and about model release forms, and both are fine, so I'm really excited, and I'm off to get an early night, as the coach leaves at 6.15am!

Metal Maks

My house mate, and 3rd year Model Maker, has made 4 metal masks for the photo shoot. 2 of them are made from thin aluminium wire, and 2 from thicker, slightly rusty wire. I have attached ribbon to them, to tie them to the face with.

I've been busy busy making props

I haven't put a post on here for a while, as I've been really busy trying to produce the props for the photo shoot. I have now finished papier macheing the crinoline and the hula hoops, making 2 mixed material Giles Deacon style ruffs, 2 classic style ruffs, a ribbon ruff, a feather ruff, a pom pom ruff, 2 chiffon/net headbands, 2 feathered venetian masks and 2 origami bow ties.
